What is Team Beyond Cancer (TBC)?

TBC is a team of three young cancer survivors and past First Descents participants Matt (Mateo) Hayne, Kelsey (Buttons) Wolfe, Nick (Nickname) Raitt who are teaming up again to compete in athletic events across the country to raise money for the cancer organization that helped change their lives, First Descents. Team Beyond Cancers mission was to raise $20,000 in 2009 by competing in athletic competitions nationwide for pledges. TBC wants to raise awareness of First Descents and it's benefits for young adults with cancer so they know there is more out there for them beyond traditional medicine. Team Beyond Cancer's fundraising efforts will help 20 young adults with cancer attend First Descents.
